Note on Husband: Joel FAIRWEATHER

Ron FAIRWEATHER: "I know I've found Joel in the 1851 census, living next door to Thomas, and I also found him in the 1841 census, with his wife, 2 children and, I believe, his granddaughter. Perhaps my biggest break in this respect was finding that Joel had left a will which named all his children, one granddaughter and "Rachael, the illegitimate daughter of my late daughter Sally", a phrase oft repeated in the document. This document is held in the Lincolnshire Archive, as is the "secondary transcript" of Brothertoft parish which says (p96) "Joel and Zachariah twin sons of William and Mary Fairweather baptised July 26th 1772". Just a couple of weeks ago, I found in the Coningsby parish register (again in Lincolnshire Archive) the burial record for Zachariah - Jan. 7th, 1773, Zachariah Fairweather, son of William and Mary.
