From Helen Durnan:

Ian - found this on a database at work. Registered as George Lee’s “wife” by Auntie Connie - who committed perjury if she did so knowing that they weren’t married. So were they? Still can’t find a marriage record.

They were also listed as married in the 1939 register.-, when Joseph Henry was still alive. Did she and JHF divorce?

Wet weather is a good time for family history.
