Slack

Sarah Ann Slack

1850–1940

Born 9 September 1850, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9
Died 16 July 1940, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England2,16,17

1939 register gives birth date of 09 Sep 1950. Baptism record gives birth date of 22 Sep 1950. Given that Sarah’s parents’ wedding date was 09 Sept, I suspect she may have confused this date with her birth date. Cannot find birth certificate on GRO registers, frustratingly.

Sarah Ann was a witness at the marriage of her older sister Mary Elizabeth to Frederick Parkin.
